SS for 8-5 and 8-6 Roman Religions (including Christianity) and the Map.  Due Tue. May 26  From the textbook they are doing jot notes on Roman Religious Beliefs and Jesus Christ and the Birth of Christianity, and students will label the  map from their instructions for the Roman Unit.  Students have had class time.

ELA Outsiders Update for 8-5 and 8-6

We are just finishing up the novel Outsiders, students should be finished rough copies of Tuff Talks 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 9, and 10.   Still to do Tuff Talk 11 and 12, plus the reading response.  Everything (rough and good copies) will be due early next week (Mon or Tues).

ELA Outsiders Novel Update

ELA Outsiders Novel Update.  We have read up to Chap. 7.  Students are expected to have rough copies of Tuff Talks: 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, and 7.  Good copies of the Tuff Talks will be due at the end of the novel.  Both copies are to be handed in.   

Tuff Talks should each be a minimum of half a page single spaced.   The writing is to be in-depth and detailed.  Students are to show thought and take their time in writing.

As exams will be in approximately a month, I will be offering extra help at lunch.   It is by choice for students to attend, and students are expected to have specific areas they have questions about.  Students are also welcome to come and study quietly.

Field trip

Please get forms in for the trip to Carreer Connections Expo no later than Monday, May 4th.

Also a reminder to bring in the 4 dollars for the Zues Garden Presentations which have already taken place.  The students spent an entertaining 80 minutes with the presenters from the Assinaboine Conservatory. Thank you.
