The exam schedule has been handed out.  Review week begins on June 9th with reviews handed out.   
Suggestions for studying a head of time:
ELA: poetic devices, types of poems, literary terms
SS: vocabulary and key concepts
Ms Cherniack will be available 3 lunches out of the 5 lunches in each week before exams for extra help.

Extra Help and Binder Organization
Tuesday, May 19 at lunch.
As exams will be in approximately a month, I will be offering extra help at lunch.   It is by choice for students to attend, and students are expected to have specific areas they have questions about.  Students are also welcome to come and study quietly.

TRI-CONFERENCE sheets have been sent home today

TRI-CONFERENCE sheets have been sent home Thursday, Nov 27.  Please return the sheets for Monday, Dec. 1.  The meetings are Wednesday, Dec. 3 and Thursday, Dec. 4 from 4.40pm to 8pm.

Please note there will be a change with Current Events

Please note there will be a change with Current Events.  Instead of alternating Current Events with What in the World, the cycle will go two Current Events (half the class goes the first Day 2 or 6, then the other half will go the next Day 2 or 6), then a What in the World.

There will be a letter mailed out soon that needs to be signed and returned stating that you have received the Personal Management Skills Evaluation for your child.

Tri-Conference Sheets were sent home on Thursday.  Please make sure your child has returned the tri-conference sheet.

Terry Fox Run on Friday Sept 12 Day 3

Terry Fox Run on Friday Sept 12 Day 3.  Students will run/walk/rollerblade the 3 km Chancellor loop in the afternoon.  Please make sure your son or daughter is prepared (clothes, rollerblades, safety equipment – especially for rollerbladers, etc.).
