SS update for 8-5 and 8-6

We are the midst of working on our end of unit project for Egypt.  It will be due on Wed., Feb. 18.    Students are expected to do some work at home.

Students will have had a minimum of three computer classes, and one library classs to work on the PPt.  Students have a hand out of the assignment which details the required information on each of the six slides.

Nov 27 for 8-5 and 8-6.  Students have been working on this since Thursday last week and have had several library research times.  Students will be given time on Wednesday to peer edit their rough draft.  Students have an instruction sheet, marking scheme, and bibliography sheet.

ELA Editing of Mystery Story Rough Draft.  Self Edit – structural (punctuation, spelling, grammar), and descriptive (re-working of the writing, improving vocabulary and flow of story, 5 senses).  Structural and Descriptive editing should be done in different colours of pens.  And a new copy which incorporates the editing changes that have been made.
