Sorry about the time lapse, folks. This blog is new to me and keeps slipping my mind. I promise I will do a better job keeping up with this tool.
In math, we have just finished chapter 2 (fractions). Students will be receiving their test scores when they return after the long weekend. We will be moving on to ratio, rate, and scales beginning today.
In science, our current inquiry is based on the big question “How do we get the energy our body requires to live?” It is a cycle that starts with the Sun’s energy, and students have been breaking down this process to the most microscopic details. Our test is this Thursday and we be based on the students’ ability to answer this “big” question.
Reminder: Parent/teacher conferences will be held Dec 3rd and 4th. Sign up sheets will be coming home soon.
